Train Sim

The Activities

TSTA is a set of high level activities (44 hours of driving) that will test your endurance, decision making ability and driving skills to the limit. From evacuating wounded during the Battle of Britain, to driving monster trains over the wind swept Marias Pass, TSTA starts where the Activities in the Train Simulator stop. The extensive manual will have driving tips and background stories for each Activity, or should we say, Adventure?

Every Activity is introduced with a story that sets the tone and environment for the Activity. The stories also assist the user in the tasks that have to be completed. Where needed the documentation will include maps of the most complex yards.

When the Activity has been completed a detailed score is given and mistakes can be studied. The user can choose to send the report to the Online Database where his/her achievement can be measured against other drivers.

An activity is an assignment/adventure that can be ‘played’ in TrainSim.

DEMO: tsta103_demo.zip 1.8mb
This demo (trail version) of TSTA contains 2 Activities that will test your endurance, decision making ability and driving skills to the limit. The two Activities let you rescue passengers from a broken down train before it collides with another train and drive a German diplomate on a simple tour of the Alps. Unfortunately, simple trips have a tendency to get more complex, some things even very demanding!
