VERSION 1.2 Released
FlighManager, a comprehensive flightplanning program, continues to improve. Version 1.2 is introducing direct interfaces to RadarContact and SquawkBox while maintaining the standard functionality of an indepth scenery viewer, FS2000 weather setting, flight tracking, a chart editor with SIDs, STARs, Approaches and a comprehensive flight planner with autorouting along the airways. The "Enrich newest FS2000 Weather" feature loads weather from FS2000 into FlightManager, builds the missing winds aloft, fills all weather reports and sends the result back to FS2000 - all in one command. Ease of use is improved by direct access to the most recently used flightplans and charts. An option for reloading the previously used scenery areas saves valuable time on merging scenery areas. There is no upgrade fee - issued licences remain fully valid. |
FLIGHT MANAGER
VERSION 1.1 Released
FlightManager Version 1.1 adds advanced weather capabilities and F9/F11 key based map toggling to the available functions of scenery viewing, plane tracking, chart building and flightplanning. Weather charts for FS98 and FS2000 are the main goodies. Charts are displaed on the FlightManager map and indicating thunderstorms, winds and QNH. For more detailed information METAR style forecasts are only a mouseclick away. Whats more, FlightManger will generate those missing winds aloft for FS2000 - including trade winds near the Equator - and fill up empty weather stations with reports from nearby. Registered users may download the resulting weather to Flight Simulator, finally planning and flying with winds above 1000 ft AGL. The import ban for areas and flightpackages has been lifted. And before we forget it - the help files have been trasnfered in a much more readable format. And there is no upgrade fee - issued licences remain fully valid. |
Flight Manager is the only tool you will need for navigation in FS2000, FS98 and CFS. It has the following features:
Interfaces with:

- Import/Export of prescanned Scenery Areas into/from the Database.
Map View:
- Map with worldwide Countries, Airways and Intersections.
- Contiguos Zooming from 22.000 NM to 500 feet and below.
- Fast Pan&Zoom display, usually less than 1 second.
- Creates Scenery Printouts.
Chart Designer:
- Creates SID, EnRoute, STAR and Approach charts.
- Positions Waypoints via Rubberbanding (Drag&Drop).
- Graphically defines Fixes from Navaids&Intersections.
- Great Circle, Direct, DMEArc, Intercept and Overfly Modes.
- Chart Printing.
- Procedure Turns und Holdings.
- Import/Export of Charts into/from the database.
Flight Planner:
- Autoroute, shortest distance along Airways.
- Combines SID, Enroute, STAR and Approach Charts.
- Generates VFR-, IFR- and ATC Vectored Routes.
- Flightplan Printout, Preview and representation on the Map.
- Loads Flightplans into FS 2000, EFIS 98 and Proflight.
- Import/Export of FlightPlans into/from the database.
- Programmable access to Flightplans (SDK - Upcoming).
Flight Tracking:
- for Flight Simulators 2000, 98, 95 and Combat Flight Simulator.
- Depicts Plane Position and Plane Route on the Map.
- Sets the Plane to a new Location, Inflight and on the Ground.
The unregistered Version is limited to 5 Scenery Areas, 20 charts and 45 Flightplans. Please feel free to test the program throughfully!
