for FS2002

Approach Chart Atlas & Designer for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002

Final Approach is a powerful Approach Chart Atlas and Designer for Flight Simulator 2002. Over 4500 copyright-free approach charts are available for use with the program. Special symbols and functions allow you to design and distribute your own approach charts.

148 new approach charts are now available at the downloads page. This brings the total number of approach charts in Final Approach format to over 4500!

Create your own approach charts: Final Approach includes a multitude of ready-to-go symbols and functions to make the creation of realistic approach charts a breeze. And a complete chart fits into a tiny 1K file!

Modern flight simulators have reached a level of realism that makes the use of instrument approach plates (IAPs) almost a necessity. Unfortunately, only a few charts are generally included with these programs.

What's more, countless add-on sceneries and adventures for Microsoft Flight Simulator would strongly gain in interest and usability if their designers had found a way to include digitized instrument approach plates with their products.

This is where Final Approach comes in handy.

With Final Approach you can display and design your own instrument approach plates right on screen. You may also generate vectorized hardcopies in the highest resolution available on your printer.

Unlike scanned IAPs, the plates you design with Final Approach use very little disk space. You are encouraged to share the plates you create with flight simulator enthusiasts wherever they may be.
