AMSTERDAM SCHIPHOL 2002

Stunning scenery of the large Amsterdam Schiphol airport. Needs a keycode to install!

Owners of the previous CD version of this scenery can install with the original Serial Number. A version for owners of the downloadble shareware version will be available before Feb 2nd 2002.

These files do NOT contain the static and dynamic aircraft but does contain a complex set of FS Scenery Enhancer files that will make the airport populated and busy.

Amsterdam Schiphol 2002 is a direct update of the award-winning Amsterdam Schiphol scenery released by LAGO early 2000. This scenery has some problems when it runs inside FS2002 so we decided to do a quick update to smooth some of the problems. In this new version the scenery is almost identical to that of FS2000, although it looks better and runs faster in FS2002. This version is ONLY suitable for FS2002.

Active Scenery
The Active Scenery part is NOT updated in this version and this means that the scheduled moving traffic is not available in FS2002. To make this part compatible would make this product too expensive to sell. As the static aircraft were also made with Active Scenery they are also not available.

FS Scenery Enhancer
To alleviate this deficiency we added a series of FS Scenery Enhancer files that make this airport more crowded than it was in the previous version. The FS Scenery Enhancer files also add some elements that have been added to this airport since we released the original. For example, the gates at the B pier have been added as have some smaller buildings build in the last 18 months.

The FS Scenery Enhancer files also add a few hundred objects like vehicles, visibility meters, birds, maintenance crews etc. With these enhancements this airport is fully up to standard with FS2002 and the competition. Of course the FS Scenery Enhancer files can be added to or changed by the user to create your own customized airport!

To be clear, you do need a licensed version of FS Scenery Enhancer to see the enhancements. Without FS Scenery Enhancer Amsterdam Schiphol will still be a stunning scenery but there will be no aircrafts and less ‘small objects’. Ideal for a slower system.

Documentation
The product comes with superb documentation in text and images. You will find details like Intersection take-off tables, preferential runway systems and maps that help you find the correct taxi routes, help you fly ILSs, SIDs and STARs. Even after all this time, this set of charts is unprecedented for a scenery add-on for Flight Simulator
